- Returns & Exchanges
If for any reason you need to return your purchased goods for a Refund or Exchange, no problem, but please follow the instructions below. Failure to do so may result in us being delayed / or unable to refund you quickly and without fuss.
In all cases, you must notify us within 7 days from receipt of delivery and all returns must be received by us within 14 days of receipt of delivery. Failure to do so may result in NO REFUND being given. In this instance we will notify you and offer to return the goods to you at your expense.
PLEASE NOTE - There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this unless we have prior agreed this with you, or our shop is temporally closed for Maintenance or Holidays.
1. Please contact us to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number. You also need to confirm your Name, Sales Order Number and a brief description of your reasons. Please also state whether you require a Refund or Exchange.
2. Once we have sent you the Returns Authorisation Number, please return your goods to our Administration Office including all the information stated above.

All items returned must be received in a Re-saleable Condition. This means that the packaging must not be ripped or damaged, and the item must show no obvious signs of wear, i.e.; no make up / tan stains / smoke smells / pet smells etc. Should we not be fully happy with the condition the item is returned, we reserve the right to ask for further explanation, OR refuse to refund your money.
Important - Some costumes include attached accessories that are sealed in separate bags / packaging. DO NOT open these items until you are happy that the costume fits. Failure to do so may mean that the costume is NOT RE-SALEABLE and NO REFUND / EXCHANGE will be given.
Once the item has been received and has been inspected, we will process your refund normally within 7 Days. During busy periods, this may take up to 28 Days. Please note that we do not refund any postage costs unless we are at fault in sending the incorrect goods or the goods are found to be faulty.
You must be aware that it is your responsibility to make sure that you choose the appropriate postal service for your returns, and understand that a proof of postage is not a proof of delivery to us.
Should you wish to Exchange your item, no problem.
In the first instance, please follow the instruction stated above and include details of the item that you wish us to send to you.
Due to us keeping our prices low & competitive, we do charge an additional postage fee for the Exchange item being sent to you. This small cost needs to be received prior to the exchange item being despatched to you. It can be easily sent to us via our Payment facilities available.
Should you find that you need the replacement item immediately and are unable to wait for us to receive and inspect your returned item, no problem. Just purchase the item you require and checkout and pay in the normal manner. Your item will them be despatched immediately to you and we will process the refund on the returned item once it has been received.
Due to Health & Hygiene reasons, we are unable to Refund or Exchange on certain items. These include; Lingerie, Hosiery, Hot Pants, Makeup, Hats, Wigs, Masks & some items of Latex & Lycra. Please ask prior to purchase if you are unsure.

All items sold by My Fancy Dress Party are to be used for entertainment purposes only.
At any time prior to despatch, we reserve the right to decline, reject or cancel any order or part order without notice and refund any payment in full.
Many of our costumes & accessories are supplied to us from different suppliers. Depending on stock availability, multiple purchases may on occasions result in your order being sent to you in different packages and possibly at different times. We will always notify you via email should these circumstances arise. This will not effect the one price “Flat Rate Postage” that we offer.
All prices are correct at time of publication. My Fancy Dress Party reserve the right to change, alter or amend any price at any time without notice. Should a product price decrease since an original purchase, contractually we are not obligated to refund the difference. Similary, should an increase occur prior to purchase, we are not obligated to sell at the previous lower price.
Should a product be unavailable or out of stock, we will try to let you know as soon as possible, and ask if a replacement product with the same or higher value is acceptable to you. If not, we will refund any payments made immediately. If we are unable to contact you within 3 working days, so we do not let you down, we may make a decision to despatch the replacement item to you. We will always do our utmost to try and send a replacement with a similar theme & colour. If when the item is received, you are not fully happy, you may return the item(s) to us for full refund.
All items "not received" that are despatched using our Standard Delivery Service, will be subject to a 15 day waiting period before any refund can be made. The waiting period is deemed as Mon-Fri (business days) and will commence from date of despatch. This is in line with Royal Mail's Insurance claim process.
All items "not received" that are despatched using "Next Day Service" will be subject to a 3 working day waiting period before any refund can be made. The Next Day Service will be deemed as applicable from the date of despatch. Business days are deemed as Mon-Fri.
